It was an abysmal time in the village of Skull Brooke, but in a large mansion at the far east of the village a certain young girl couldn't care less, this young girl was called Lady Victoria Lillian Jane Greymane and she was the only child of Lord and Lady Greymane.
In the tallest tower of the Greymane mansion Victoria Greymane was fast asleep having a wonderful dream about playing in the woods when a horrific scream woke her up, "AHH! Damn cat, always in my kitchen!" Victoria got up from the warmth of her bed and looked towards a small basket which happened to be empty. "Oh Midnight, what am I going to do with you?" Victoria sighed to herself, she walked over to a chair in the corner of her room and grabbed her robe and put it on to block out the cold draft from the window.
