Backstory -- Lyaria was born on Dandis to her mother, a very respected educator of children,  and her father, a politician who was fairly high up in the ranks. she had a male twin named Lysanton, but he died shortly after the pair turned twelve. she was a generally docile child, but became extremely bored with the endless rounds of lessons and political parties or balls she attended, and soon became fed up with the life altogether, becoming very cold and shut off. she never acquired a job, as it was not necessary for someone of her status, and her father wanted to keep her as a sort of trophy daughter.

eventually, she began paying more attentions to politics and was drawn to the darker aspects of her own planet, including the corruption that was spreading. Lyaria learned that her brother was actually poisoned in order to warn and blackmail her father to keep him under the control of the Galactic Consulate/Primal Empire, and  she began to resent and blame him for not protecting Lysanton.

one day, when Lyaria was sixteen, she was attending a charity event with her parents, which suddenly turned sour as her father was shot in the head, instantly killed. Lyaria saw the assassin hired to kill him, followed him, and managed to board his aircraft undetected, hiding until they reached Jesep, where she murdered him in cold blood.

she began to live as a fugitive in Jesep, and completely wiped her identity before starting a new one, passing as a Jesseppi, or other races. she worked as a prostitute for a year or so, before she was picked up by a crime boss who used her to seduce and kill designated clients, which she did for one year. at eighteen, she began steadily climbing ranks until she was the boss’ right hand woman, before murdering him in a brutal double cross, raiding him of tech and other assets the crime ring had obtained, and killed anyone that got in her way. she gathered everything into a roomy cruiser and took off, working as a loan agent from then on. she became a shadow killer, and was ruthless in a way that attracted people to hire her. she worked odd assassinations, intelligence operations, etc. for two years before becoming more selective and immersing herself in the war. she had worked for both sides, but eventually went rogue, uncontrolled by both, though if she chooses to affiliate with one side, it would be the resistance.

Description --

Hair: a medium-light dull brown hair with auburn highlights. it falls in gentle waves down to the middle of her ribcage. she usually wears her hair in two plaits that go down her back, or in a braided bun.

Face: she is very pale in complexion, with a spray of freckles over her cheeks and the bridge of her nose. she has high cheekbones, a strong jawline, and strong, dark eyebrows (seemingly masculine, but also undoubtedly feminine). her eyes are hooded, almost feline, like she is tired, and are a jade/light teal color.

Body: she has delicate hands, feet, and limbs, and altogether a very sinewy/lithe body. she is about 5’7.75’’ and weighs approximately 120 pounds.

Notable Features: extremely pale, deep circles under eyes from both lack of sleep and translucency or skin. she bruises very easily. she has a nose ring in her left nostril, and a scar twisting over her left bicep.

Persona -- many describe her as cold and ruthless. she has a certain apathetic quality, and is quite measured, but always exudes an air of controlled boredom and restrained gracefulness. she speaks quietly, meticulously, detachedly, and not often. she lacks empathy and cannot rely on manipulating people's emotions. it takes a lot to upset her, and she becomes almost catatonic when it does.

Other -- she is an insomniac. records everything in a  journal. brilliant strategist, but only when motivated or forced. she enjoys looking for patterns in everyday life and coming up with puzzles, as she has number-color synesthesia (or whatever the arakon universe equivalent is). she uses a modified hallipher sniper for long range, and the annihilator 71 for close range, although she also carries a concealed knife on her at all times. her affiliation is with mainly herself, though she is more likely to join with the resistance as it progresses.
