The Land of Crousus
The land of Crousus is a very dark and beautiful place. During the day the atmosphere is that of a very early sunrise, never to truly be fully day-bright. Then the nights are especially darkened with only the moon. Almost all the colors of the plants and trees are luminescent and glow very bright. It helps light up the near pitch-black darkness of the night. Consequently, Sahria and Crousus are basically opposites. (In case you forgot, each kingdom has an eternal spell, casted by Sieano, granting each one an entirely different atmosphere.)
Spring: The plants luminescence glows brighter with mainly their original shades of blues, turquoises, greens, pinks, magenta, oranges, purples and neon yellows with some yellow-ish gold peeking through.
Summer: Is the brightest time of the year in Crousus. The sun casts a slightly brighter shadow of radiance.
Autumn: The trees and plants range more to the colors of lavenders, purples, light shades of blues, reds, and some gold.
Winter: The trees bark turns either bright grey with different shades of black peeking through the cracks in the bark or black bark with purple and lavenders peeking through. The leaves on trees turn a royal blue and the plants turn white and silver with slight gold highlights and most things has a slight glimmer.
Like Sahria, the land of Crousus also contains small pixie-like fairies in there forests and mermaids in their waters.
The People
Crosisiians have somewhat the same skin color as Sahrians except Crosisiians are more of just mainly a natural pale flesh color with white toned highlights instead of grey tones, like the Sahrians. They have very prominent features and bone structures. They also have long pointy ears that rise up very close up against their heads.
Their hair colors range from black, purple-black, blue-black, dark teal-black and sometimes even burgundy-black.
Because their land is so dark, they have eyes that can adjust to and see better in the dark, much like cats but they are far from feline. And their eye color is a pale crimson burgundy.
They are also known to have the best Swordsmen.
Specific People
Like Sahrians, they also have Oracles and Priestesses which are of very high value to them and their race.
The Army
The Crosisiian Empire is most of the time on high alert due to all the darkness covering the land which is highly possible to attract the Shadow Demons. They are very much aware that the Shadow Demons are still existent and expose themselves in usually only and through darkness.
That being another reason Crosisiians hate Sahrians, they blame them for the extensive shadow demon alert they must always be on. (Due to Sahria's forefather, Taraan, being the soul creator of the Shadow Demons.)
The Royals
The current rulers of Crousus are King Royaan and Queen Synduya. They also have magical possessions coursing through their veins to help them fulfill success during their rein. They have the power to control and manipulate water passed down from Crousus’ forefather, Viorarno, which can also help them cast reflections of light (which is scarce in Crousus) during battles against Shadow Demons.
However, if a royal were to devastatingly abuse this power they would be sent to the Oracles (sometimes with the help of the priestesses) to be stripped of all they had once obtained. If that Royal then rebelled violently, they would be put to death or be imprisoned for life. In that aspect all three kingdoms are alike. They are all prepared for a possible outburst for power and are ready to eliminate it before it gets out of hand like it had before once long ago.
The Attire
Most Crosisiians, not all, wear light, pastel and bright colored clothing but it very much depends on what they prefer. During the spring they can very much enjoy sheer, transparent drapery areas on whatever they wear. During the other season it very much varies. Their attire and appearance is also very intricate in designs, patterns, adornments and body art.
(Their clothing mainly consists of Greek, Indian, Persian and slight Medieval influences)
Customs and Traditions
Crosisiians are extremely conservative and formal. They have a tendency to believe that they can be better than the other kingdoms of Naahl. They have extensive training and etiquette in almost everything they do; believing perfection, though not entirely possible which they know, is crucial to wisdom and succeeding. Because of their conservatively, refined nature they are the most introverted out of the three kingdoms of Naahl.
When they enter into adulthood they have intricate tattoos of whatever preference they want on their bodies to show that they are now eligible for marriage and courting as well as new adulthood responsibilities.
Beliefs
Crosisiians also praise their Spirit-Mother Goddess of the lands of Naahl, Osenya and God of their Universe, Sieano. Some, however, are not too fond of Osenya because of the fact that she decided to help, the then, corrupt Sahrians after the catastrophic betrayal of their king, Taraan. Some believe she should have punished them with severe consequences such as the punishment she bestowed upon Taraan.
The History
Crosisiians have a deep mutual hatred for Sahrians that has continued for generations. They even have their disagreements which can lead to sometimes fatal battles. |
