The ladies of Doll Divine have banded together and created a list of things to and NOT to do in an RP:

1: Do NOT make perfect characters.

2: Use correct spelling and punctuation.

3: Do NOT godmod.

4: Make your characters interesting.

5: Stick to the story.

6: Do NOT complain if no one is interacting with your character.

7: NOT all RPs are about romance.

8: Flaws make your OC's better.

9: Do NOT stray off of the cannon if the RP is based off of an actual movie/tv show/book/etc if it is NOT agreed upon.

10: If your character did NOT see/hear/do it, do NOT act on it.

11: Do NOT intrude on a one on one, unless you need a player for another forum. Even then, tred carfully.

12: Do NOT make every character female.

13: Write in full sentences.

14: Do NOT put words into another OC's mouth.

15: Do NOT be an ass to other players. *from yours truly*

16: Stick to the story line.

17: Do NOT make your characters complete asses either. It gets rather annoying. *from yours truly, also*

18: Do NOT have seven million characters. It gets confusing.

19: Write more than two words in a response.

20: Do NOT jump to random places without consent.

21: Do NOT leave the forum for a vast amont of time with out notifying the other players.

22: Avoid awkward self-RPing unless it is needed.

23: Reply with something that can be easily responded to.

24: Do NOT turn an open RP into a one on one.

25: Keep to the rules of the RP, if there are any.

26: Do NOT post 'Hello?' or 'Are you still there?' after only a few minutes of waiting.

27: Use these: ( ) for unrelated topics in an RP.

28: Also *this hasn't been seen on DD yet, but...* do NOT post if your character is on her cycle. Just don't.

29: Do NOT over plot, you can NOT plan for other players actions.

30: If no one else is on, do NOT advance further into the plot line.

31: Remember that your character can die, in fact another character can kill you. Do NOT get upset and beg to take back what they did to you. Just make another character and do NOT do it again.

32: Do NOT act like your character is above others.

33: Use logic. If your character walked away from the party and into the woods, most likely no one will hear them scream. Do NOT be an asshat.

If you follow these rules, you will not bug the hell out of other players. :D Congratulations for reading this far.
