OTHER FACTS
He has twin sparrows tattooed on his chest (which he achieved illegally)
He tends to use his power for personal gain or amusement.
His most common illusions are: making his driver’s license appear as though he is of legal age, making himself look older, and appearing as a girl to freak Teagan out.
He forged his own birth certificate by having the clerks and lawyers see a blank sheet of printer paper as a birth certificate (which is also when Teagan discovered Morpheus’s ability)
His powers don’t work very well when he’s drunk (which is why he often winds up in the drunk tank)
He can’t cause someone to hallucinate unless he can see them, and it’s difficult for him to cast a mass-hallucination. However, if he's scared or triggered, he may accidentally cause a mass hallucination. (It's like an octopus-squirting-ink-type deal)
His comfort snack is overly-sweetened coffee and Cool Ranch Doritos.
Teagan is pretty much the only one who can consistently keep Morpheus in line
He does not like egomaniacal dickwads or bullies--he'll use his power without a second thought.
If his power isn't employed, he's a surprisingly bad liar. He tends to pull on or fidget with his piercings, stammering the whole time.
Morpheus's power is extremely limited when dealing with someone of two minds (such as DID or old-world werewolves), schizophrenic, or otherwise mentally conflicted. Because his illusions are basically implanted thoughts he forces to manifest, it results in the mind not being able to choose one image--thus, the image remains only as a highly persuasive thought. |
