Skills/Combat Prowess: Fairly skilled fighter, though her anxiety over her power holds her down. She’s also a fairly competent spy, simply due to the fact she’s so used to avoiding people due to her power.

Hobbies: Midas doesn’t really have downtime in her universe, so she doesn’t really have hobbies. Unless doing her freelance work counts (which it really doesn’t; it’s her job).

Personality: Somewhat reserved, but self-assured. She has near-crippling social anxiety due to her ability, to the point she will become nearly immobilized with terror if someone approaches her while her gloves are off or ripped; however, she is usually pretty good at maintaining her anxiety.

Backstory: Midas grew up fairly happily, with parents who loved and adored her. However, after injuring herself when she was nine, she accidentally turned both her parents to solid gold. She was taken into the care of Charles, who taught her ways to manage her anxiety/self-loathing and her powers. She also met, and quickly bonded with, Logan, who is the only person Midas can touch unprotected since he is part metal.

OTHER FACTS

All of her clothes have to be custom-made and lined with at least partially gold mesh; her gloves have the purest mesh of gold, allowing her to freely touch things

Though technically she can’t turn metal objects to gold, filaments still run through the object before disappearing; gold, naturally, is the only metal unaffected by this.

She works as a freelancer agent for Charles, gathering intelligence on POI in her world and occasionally acts as a courier.

Because both her mentor and psuedo-( )other's girlfriend are skilled telepaths, Midas is pretty good at guarding her thoughts.

Though her typical mannerisms belie this, she’s absolutely ruthless in combat; she fights to survive (which is nice-speak for “plays dirty”) and may actually use her ability on a living person if she fears for her life.

The gold ability doesn’t stop at the surface; it’s skin/tissue/organ/blood deep. Her blood is mixed with gold

During one of many battles in her world, her heart was damaged by shrapnel; through a mixture of highly advanced medicine and others’ abilities, her heart was replaced with an artificial filtration unit. Due to this, she doesn’t actually have a heartbeat.
