{{ Much better, yes? This way you won't have to burn your eyes out because you spent forever reading all of this in one story, and you don't have to read it all @ one time.
Now then... Rebecca spent three years working as a servant, and hardened. She had to fight to survive each day, so she learned to fight. No one treated her well, so she learned not to treat them well... You get the picture. The only reason she didn't end up dead in some street corner like most servant girls did, was because James by complete fluke managed to find her, and he took her in as his apprentice. Though he tryed to regain the romantic relashionship they once had, Rebecca refused for reasons she wouldn't say, though if you were to ask any of the low-likes of her home country, they could most likely tell you...
...And that brings us to Macaw, a "working girl" who, along with her many colleagues has heard things from some of their customers. They seem to claim that the only body the royals buried was quite small, far too small to have been a seventeen year old princess. A few of them heard from the kings closer friends that Rebecca was forced to be in her quarters at all times, as if her parents didn't want her to be seen...
There wasn't much for Macaw and her friends to question about Rebecca, but there were some things Lucy, Paradise, and Priti would like to know about their friend.
Macaw's mother was a street walker, just like them, yet they lived in a fairly nice house, where as most of their occupation were lucky to have a roof over their heads, and they had some rather expenceive clothes, though most were old and out of fashion. Macaw was interested in knowing, too, but when ever she asked, her mother wouldn't answer, or rather, she wouldn't give any new information.
All that she was told was that it had been payed for by her father, but never who he was. Macaw knew she was illegitmate, and she could guess that her father must have been well-born, but that was it.
She began puting things toget her when a wealthy noble regular costumer accused Priti and another girl of stealing from him. Macaw didn't want to see anything happen to one of her friends, so she pleaded with him to give her some time to look into the thefts for him. He agreeed, and gave her two weeks...
...And that brings you to where the story starts. I'm thinking of asking my dad to let me go premium, so If I do I might just make a PSM story. If not, I'll just put it in the 'stories section for you, but either way, I don't want to give out any spoilers, so I'd better stop there. |
