Myraim and Kanu
Hush and listen, for a tale of yore.
When days and nights were young and time yet to unfold.
Gods and men lived side by side, one from another cannot tell.
Gods from above and men below, bonded by a blessing or a curse named love.
Beings on high, of stars and clouds.
Detached from dust, serene were their hearts.
A mirror lake, not a single ripple, a stillness ever still.
Yet the wheel cast one stone down, shattered the mirror, snowed, fell.
A stir, a throb, a flutter, for joy and pain unveil.
A blinding sweetness, followed by an aching sorrow.
Curse the day he saw her eyes.
Curse her songs, her smiles and her raven hair.
Cold as steel in stone the law etched.
Men lived their days and gods many to come.
Men adored gods yet gods envied men, for men are free, gods not.
Alas a divine heart was never meant to love.

An Ancient Lullaby (Eme-lyl)
Idim lātilū alāku, raṣil nezahllā wari
Peška u šidtu narāṭu, inimpānāma ilihšū
Litâ ṣēr ạemṣālmā, ina pānā qariāl
Ṭinatašgū alitīmušu, ana uška ala pietu/innatu
Selim, selim, zu bešna
Neha, neha, ana zu lagšu.
The river flows endlessly, across the sand of golden gleam.
Palms and dates wave, ancient words they whisper.
The moon shone down from yore, upon the temple of obsidian.
The marble pillars bath in moonlight, onto the stone stairs the light floats.
Greetings, greetings, welcome thee.
Peace, peace, bestowed upon thee.

Éyldryn (tongue of Fae) version of Nobel Maiden Fair from Brave
Banná Aldávyn
(Little baby, hear my voice
I'm beside you, O maiden fair
Our young Lady, grow and see
Your land, your own faithful land
Sun and moon, guide us
To the hour of our glory and honour
Little baby, our young Lady
Noble maiden fair)

Éyldryn (tongue of Fae) version of Pippin's Song from LotR
<( ) />
Ta’mar syde, ta ámen ryhat
Gole boren ni kyrd
Tya nye ni fyndu’yder
Nes do télen yllba gæly
Nym a thýta, gu’ye a nye
Felu syed, felu syed
(Home is behind, the world ahead
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadow to the edge of the night
Until the stars are all alight
Mist and shadow, cloud and shade
All shall fade, all shall fade) |
