My Original Characters: Reii'la, Reii'la Mom is Lady Ree'a(who believes she is Lady Rea of Carlon), Dad Lord Uno'komu a nobel of Tanjiia. Also Mai'lu of Tanjiia.

Preface: In her youth Lady Ree'a was an author of fantasy and science fiction novels. As she aged she began showing signs of a form of mental illness or dementia. She began to believe she was the fictional character from her own novels. The following story is one that takes place in her mind.

On a stormy night, when the sky turned monsterous and all of Tanjiia seeked shelter in the comforts of their home, a single lady was seen walking through the streets. She was drenched and her clothes were tattered. She was so worn out but she kept walking.
Lady Rea was from the distant kindgom of Carlon. She had risked life and limb to reach Tanjiia. In her arms she carried her daughter Reii'la. The baby was her reason for making the daunting journey. Reii'la father Lord Uno'komu was of a nobel family of Tanjiia. He had meet Lady Rea while on a diplomatic mission to her kingdom. Unfortunately, an internal power struggle had ( )oken out in Carlon. Lord Uno'komu along with a few other deligates fled the kingdom to avoid getting caught in the middle of the domestic crisis.
Lady Rea never was able to tell him that she was carring their child. She gave birth to their daughter alone and afraid. If it was discovered that she bore a Tanjiian Nobel's child they would kill both her and the baby. She vowed to escape and take her baby to her father even if she herself died in the process.
Rei'la was a beautiful baby with dark classical hair of Tanjiians. She reminded her mother of Uno'komu. Lady Rea by contrast has hair the color of flame. Perhaps opposits do attract thought the lady as she trugged through the raging storm looking for Lord Uno'komu's residence. A gust of wind blew away the shroud covering mother and child. Lady Rea ran towards the nearest shelter and knocked.
The door opened. Mai'lu was shocked to find a foreigner on her door step. She had never anyone with red hair. The lady in question asked for shelter from the storm. Mai'lu snapped out of it and went into action. She took the mother and baby inside and sat the by a fire. She covered them in a blanket and gave a change of clothes. Lady Rea introduced herself. Mai'lu knew Lord Uno'komu. He was a well liked person. She promised to take them to him the next morning.
Morning came and with it the day ( )ightened. Lady Rea and baby Rei'la greeted their first Tanjiian Morning. In her heart Rea hoped to make this her new home for herself and her daughter. Mai'lu stood in front of the house waiting for her. They were about to meet her love Uno'kumo.
Lord Uno'kumo had been reatless lately. Ever since he returned from Carlon he couldn't forget the beautiful free spirited Lady Rea. She had been so unlike all the women he knew. She was a lady of upper class and yet she never treated those below her any differently. He was worried of her safety due to reports of escalating violence in Carlon. It had been almost a year since he last saw her. He didn't even get to say farewell. If he had he might have asked her to come with him. Regrets were a dangerous thing to live with.
Clearing his mind he went down the hall to meet his guest. Mai'lu was a young lady of extraordinary talent. Although she wasn't of the nobility she was known and travelled in their circles. He wondered what ( )ought her to his home so early in the morning. He walked into the great hall and froze at the sighted before him. Lady Rea stood tall and proud with a baby girl in her arms. She looked at him and smiled warmly, "My love, let me introduce you to our daughter Rei'la".
They had much catching up to do so Mai'lu excused herself. She smiled as she though of the intersting turn things had taken. Life in Tanjiian social circles would indeed liven up. She could tell that Lord Uno'komu and Lady Rea would make an interesting and loving family.
Dumfounded but overjoyed he moved into the room and pulled them into a hug. He took Rei'la in his arms and kissed the baby's forehead. Life was finally complete for him.
