OK, so this is a thing about my faith. Don't like, don't read, yada yada yada. :)
Yes, there are bad Christians. Just like there are bad Muslims, bad Jews, bad Atheists, etc. Extremism is bad. Period. Just keep in mind that the image of Christianity is very often twisted in the media to paint us as either the almighty religion or bigoted evil people. We're just normal people trying to follow a religion that we believe is the right way. We don't condone the actions of the bad people within our circle, but we do try our best to follow our Savior's example and love even our enemies. Unfortunately, lots of Christians don't exactly follow this rule. (I can be bad about it myself.) We're supposed to love the sinner and direct all hate towards the sin. ;) |
