She's also partial to children and dogs, usually finding time during the week to visit the Edgware Primary School and spend time with the students.
Fears: Her only true fear is of the past. She often finds herself paranoid at the thought that her history would come back to haunt her.
Family life: Raised in St. Joseph’s Home Catholic Orphanage since the age of nine, the only recollection she had of her family was being born in Lucerne, Switzerland with an older sister and eventually migrating to France. Due to unknown circumstances, Maddie and her sister were left at the orphanage. It would be false to say that they were unhappy there, they enjoyed the company of their new found friends and were as close as sisters could be until a new Priest arrived at the Orphanage. Eventually, the nuns began raising their hands against the girls and verbally attack them. Still, the two could manage to persist. Then, then the Priest asked if they could play a game. A game behind closed doors.
The abuse continued until her sister left after finally reaching the age of 18. Maddie, 13 at the time, was left behind at her own personal Hell, waiting for her sister to look back and say something but nothing happened. At least, nothing happened until 5 years later.
