Batman has Robin as his sidekick.  They wear utility belts and at night fight crime in gritty Gotham City.  If Batgirl had a sidekick, it would be Robinette.  However, Robinette is too kickass by herself to be anybody's sidekick!  She doesn't need a utility belt, either.  To augment her own strengths, her ring of power is weapon enough.  She is the baddest superhero Gotham City, or anywhere else for that matter, has ever seen!!  She is ready for anything anytime, and rain or sleet or gloom of night just serves to strengthen her and her resolve.

Born Cindy Blackstone, she was orphaned at 5 years of age and later adopted by Barbara Gordan, otherwise known as Batgirl.  She apprenticed as Batgirl's assistant, but eventually outgrew that position and went off on her own to fight evil wherever she might find it.  Now Barbara Gordan lives in awe of her.  My kind of superhero!
