For the sixth week of our contest, you will be designing a look based on Broadway Musical characters' costumes. Keep in mind your task is NOT to re-create the character/costume, but to draw inspiration from them. However, there should be some element to your look that reminds the viewer of one of the costumes your character wears. I tried to assign you iconic characters to help with this. You may find it helpful to use movie-version photo references.

You are not required to make your look the same sort of attire as the costume you are using for inspiration. For example, Dolly (from Hello Dolly!) wears long dresses and gowns but that doesn't mean the look couldn't be a romper or seperates.

Remember, when you post you doll please put the theme and the name of your doll in the title. Click here to view the schedule for Broadway! week.
