Doll Divine’s Next Top Model - Second Cycle
Doll Divine’s Next Top model is a series of closed contests begun by DuskyAsianRose (at my suggestion, sort of.) Contestants are given a model to design looks for based on a weekly theme. The community then judges the dolls by giving crowns to their favorites. The model with the most crowns at the end of the week wins, and the model with the least is eliminated.
Contestants must sign up to participate before the commencement of the contest; after the sign up period has ended, no member will be allowed to join in throughout the remainder of the contest. This is because the contest is meant to resemble the TV show America’s Next Top Model (and subsequent international series.) Please read the rules completely before signing up to compete. (Sign up protocol will be covered after the rules.)
Rules:
Models will be randomly assigned to contestants using a list randomizer.
Contestants must re-create the physical characteristics of their model using the guide provided on the original doll, which will be featured in Belnika’s gallery titled Doll Divine’s Next Top Model. Accidental inconsistencies will be forgiven twice. A third inconsistency will result in the doll receiving a penalty to their crown count.
Contestants may only post their dolls after 1:00am Central Time on Monday morning. If circumstances require a contestant to post their doll early, said contestant will set the doll to ‘private.’ The doll may then be made public only after 1:00 am Central Time on Monday Morning. A schedule with converted times will be provided each week.
The doll shall be posted to the relevant Contest after 1:00am Central Time.
There shall be no penalty for posting a doll late, however a model that makes no appearance at all during the week will be eliminated.
No moderations will be allowed.
Backgrounds created from drag and drop items may win a doll more crowns from the community, but they are not required.
Dolls may only be created on the Princess Maker in tradition with Doll Divine’s Top Model.
Each doll submitted must feature the theme of the corresponding week. Themes are open to personal interpretation, but the theme should also be easily identified.
Either the title or description of the doll should mention which week and theme the doll is for.
The title of the doll should include the model’s name.
The winner of each week will be immune from elimination the week following.
Eliminated models may only return to the contest in the event that one of the current models retires from the contest. In such an event, the most recently eliminated model will be given the opportunity to return. If that model declines, or is unresponsive to communications, the second-most recently eliminated model will be invited to return.
Questions may be directed to Belnika’s contact page. (purple sign at the top of my galleries.)
Sign Up Protocol
The contest will be open to a minimum of 10 contestants and a maximum of 15. On Monday, June 8th (Central Standard Time), I will post a doll announcing the opening of sign ups. Those willing to participate must comment on the announcement doll. The sign up period will last for 24 hours from the posting of the announcement doll. After that, additional contestants will not be accepted.
