Like i told you before I have two other friends that have been with me for as long as i can remember.  Their names are Haylinn and Mikka. They are powerful too and the greatest friends a girl like me could have!  This is the story of how i met Haylinn and then i will tell you the story of how i met Mikka.

I met Haylinn long before Mikka and Zuko.

HAYLINN:

the wind was sweeping through the cracks in my house and father had gone to get some supplies to fix them. Mother was cooking ( )eakfest and i smelled the delicious aroma of biscuits, Turtle-duck eggs, and Straberry jam that mother had made herself from our small straberry garden in the backyard. Father had come back , but he couldn't get the supplies needed so he water bent and sealed the cracks with ice. Mother had finally finished cooking ( )eakfest with her firebending abilities and we all sat at the table to eat. We enjoyed it in silence and finally mother was the first to speak. "Ava darling, I wish for you to go into town and buy some meat. Later for dinner i will make some delicious stew. Could you do that for me please dear?" "Yes mother, Of course! I will leave for the market once i finish ( )eakfest." So Ava finished up and then left for the market place with the money the rounded up. She bought the meat and was headed back when a large wall went up between her and the meat. The meat was grabbed from her hands by some unknown person and taken away. Ava was angry and upset. Her mother had trusted her to ( )ing the meat safely home and someone had robbed her of it. No! she would find this person and barbeque them! She ran around the wall and climbed up a stack of wooden boards until she was on the roof of a building. She scanned the area and the spotted the meat funning away from her. She ran and stopped suddenly. The roof had ended and she was afraid she wouldn't make it to the other side. She swallowed her fear, took a deep dreath, and lept. Ava flew through the air. The wind felt so nice and she felt confidence surge through her as she landed safely on the other roof. She spotted the meat again and this time ran to keep up with it. She was neck and neck with the meat so she threw a fire ball at it. a large rock suddenly came up and flew toward her. She lept up and rocketed over the piece of meat. she flew ahead and landed in front of it. "Give me the meat now! I bought it it doesn't belong to you!" She waited for a reply but none came. The meat was thrown to the ground and a liitle girl got into battle stance. She had dirty dark skin and long black hair that stopped at her back. She wore a ragged flour sack with a string holding it on and she had the bluest eyes of anyone that Ava had ever seen. She stood there prepared to fight for the meat and Ava realized she didn't want to fight her. The little girl suddenly srated throwing rock after rock at Ava and Ava doged them all. She flew up in the air and created a ring of fire around her and the girl. "Wait I don't want to fight you!" Ava Yelled to her, but she didn't listen and rose the ground she was standing on up. She knocked pieces of it off and threw them at Ava. Ava took the fire in front of her and flew them back at the little girl. The girl finally threw a huge boulder toward Ava and Ava flew up, ran across the boulder, flung herself toward the little girl and kicked the girl off. The girl fell to the ground, but cought herself with a rock and got up. "Okey I give up you can have the meat back! Sorry Sorry!" the little girl pleaded. "Wha- Whats your name?" Ava asked her as she tried to catch her ( )eath. "Haylinn" The girl answered and they smiled at each other. " Well Haylinn I've got to ask. Why dod you steal the meat away?" "My family is hungry and we have no money. Stealing this big piece of meet from you was the only thing I could think of." Haylinn answered. Ava sighed. " Fallow me." she said and they took the meat back to Ava's small home. "Mother, Father, I'm home!" " Ava we were so worried! are you alright?" Her mother asked. "Yes mother. I had some difficulties returning the meat but I have it here now." " Wonderful! Oh..um.. Sweet heart who is this young lady?" " Oh that was the difficulty I was talking about haha. This is Haylinn." " It is very nice to meet you HAylinn." " Thank you. I'm so sorry about what I did" " Don't worry about that. Tell me do you have any family?" "Yes I have a mother, father, and older sister." " Well I'm using this meat to make stew and your family is welcomed to join us." "Really? OH THank you so much!" She happily hugged her and Ava. "I'll come right back!" Haylinn said and later arrived withe her family. " This is my mother Karina, my father Toku, and my sister Sheea." Haylinn said introducing her family to Ava's. They all sat down and talked to each other. Ava's father washed the meat and her mother cooked it. Karina helped chop vegetables and Toku helped gather the water for the stew. Ava helped her mother cook it and soon everyone was ready for a nice bowl of warm stew. That day Ava and Haylinn became the greatest of friends and they never stopped.

That was the day I met Haylinn. When my family dissapeared she was as heart( )oken as I was. Our families had grown close and were great friends. It hadn't been long until they were known as Aunt Karina, Uncle Toku, and cousins Sheea and Haylinn. That was how close we had become! Next I will tell you how I met Mikka.

Mikka and Haylinn had very different personalities, but they had many similar qualities. They both had a mother, father, and sister. They both had little or no money and were very hungry. However there was one major difference. Hayliin was an earth bender and Mikka was a water bender.

MIKKA:

Haylinn and I were playing a game of tag and once again she was winning. I loved how she used her earthbending to move faster, but then again she was a lot taller then I was. I was older then her by 4 months, but if you just met us you wouldn't know that. We were like sisters and everyone always thought of her as my older sister. We didn't look much alike though. She had black hair and mine was almost blonde. She had sky blue eyes and I had emerald green. We were both dark skinned though and of course I was a firebender and she was an Earth bender, but that didn't prove that we had no relation to other peoples perspective. Alot of families had children with different bending abilities. That particular day we had wondered over by the loading dck were the fishermen all loaded and unloaded supplies along with there catches of the day. Most of the fishermen were non-benders, but some were waterbenders. Most waterbenders were either in the northern or southern areas of the world. Very few waterbenders tended to live in the firenation or earth kingdom. I suppose it was because of the war. The war between the Fire nation and the other regions. The fire nation citizens were not suppost to know about it, but word got around quickly that we were in war. Then again this war had lasted a 100 years now. I had been tought the stories of the Avatar. They were the only known people who could bend all of the elements: Air, Water, Earth, and Fire. The air nomads were suppost to have been wiped clean off the world, but I have a feeling that they are still out there and the Avatar cycle won't stop! Haylinn had finally caught Ava by blocking her path and Ava was it. She saw a boat and noticed a new family had arrived. From their clothes they looked like waterbenders. There was a man, a women, and two girls. "Haylinn! Look!" Ava shouted at her friend. Haylinn turned to look after hesitating a moment. She spotted the family and met back up with Ava. " Wow! a waterbending family. Do you think they may be from the Northern Water tribe?" Haylinn asked. "I don't know, but I've never seen a waterbender or tribe member with blonde hair." Ava said. It was sunset and Ava realized they should be heading home. " It's sunset Haylinn we need to go." "Okey." Haylinn answered dissipointedly. They both went home, ate their dinner, and went to sleep. Later that night Ava was awoken by a camotion. "Mother, Father Whats going on?"Ava asked sleepily. "Ava honey go back to bed nothing is going on okey sweetie go back to sleep." Her mother told her. Ava went to her room but listened carefully. "I'm sorry officer I've seen no sign of refugees." Her mothers soft voice answered. "Ma'am we heard of sightings of waterbenders here in town. They supposedly arrived this afternoon at the docks" the officer said. Oh no they were looking for that nice family. I hope they will stay safe please let them be protected. Ava went back to bed , but she couldn't sleep because of her worry for the water tribe family.  Morning came and Hayliin's family came over to share ( )eakfest. After HAylinn and Ava met Toku was able to find a job. HAyliin, Sheea, and Ava all chased each other while the food was being cooked. "Have you heard the news of a family of waterbenders arriving yesterday? Karina asked Ava's mother. "Yes I was woken in the middle of the nigh by officers who wasked if I knew anything about it." Her mother replied. " um..Sheea could you take Ava and your sister out to play?" Karina asked. " Sure. Come on you little rascals." Sheea called and Ava and Haylinn follwed her out. "Haylinn did you hear what they said?" Ava asked. "Yeah what did those people do to earn the fire nations distrust?" she asked. "Sheea can we get an ice cream?" Ava asked. "Sure I'll just tell mother where were going." Sheea said. "You got a plan Ava?" "Absolutly!" "OK lets go." Sheea said an they went to the market place. It was crowded and soon Ava and Haylinn were able to sneak away. They went down an old path into a woodened area. "So what are we doing?"HAylinn asked Ava couriously. "Were going to find the family and warn them." Ava answered. They walked in silence until they came to a stream and decided to cross it. "Ava are you sure about this? Sheea is probably freaking out right now trying to find us." "Haylinn we have to warn them that they are in danger. Do you want the nice family to be locked up?" Ava asked her. "No, But-" "Then we have to look for them! We can just tel Sheea we got lost." they kept walking until they spotted a form in the water. "Ava look! Is that a House?"HAylinn said. "Let's check it out!" Ava said and ran toward it. They looked inside , but no one was there. Dissapointed they hurried back to the market place and noticed something was happening. A group of officers were surrounding one of the girls that Ava and Haylinn had seen yesterday. "You Brat! give me back that sack of money!" an officer had said. "NO! It doesn't belong to you! It belongs to that girl!" The girl said pointing toward Sheea. "Sheea!" Haylinn yelled. An officer held Sheea and she hollared at HAylinn to stay back. "Well what have we hear?" the officer said. HAylinn tried to run over there, but Ava grabbed her and held her back. "You don't want to do that!" Ava whispered fiercely to HAylinn. An officer grabbed Ava and HAylinn and threw them toward the officer with the money sack. "Here we have 4 little ( )ats!" The officer stated. Ava looked at the girl. She had light colored skin and blue eyes that matched Haylinn's. She had long wavy blonde hair and two strands of hair hung in front of her eyes. She had on a dress and wore a cloak over it. She looked angry and Scared for them. The gaurd threw HAylinn down toward the girl along with Ava and Sheea. The girls all stood up and realized the gaurds were about to fight them. Why would gaurds fight children? That was beyond Ava's comprehension. They were that evil? A gaurd threw a fire ball toward them and the girl stopped it. She had formed a water sheild around them by waterbending. " My name is Mikka and I am sorry I got you into this situation." She said. " No it was my sack of money. I'm sorry. I went to buy ice cream for you guys. Where were you?" Sheea asked worriedly. "We went to find the water tribe family to tell them they were in danger." Ava spoke. Mikka was suprisd to hear that. "You tried to warn us that the gaurds were looking for us? Thank you for caring about us, but I am sorry your efferots landed you into trouble" She said. HAylinn's family and Ava's family showed up and asked the officers what was going on. " This water ( )at tried to steal that sack of money and we confiscated it." the officer lied. "No thats not true! You stole it from this girl!" Mikka shouted. Ava's father attacked the officer and her mother put a ring of fire around them all. The citizens were watching in wonderment at this battle. "You dare declare war on us Ma'am?" "If it means protecting my daughter then so be it!" she yelled at them. The officer attacked the girls again but this time Ava, Haylinn, and Mikka used their bending abilities to create a merge of their powers for a major damage attack. The gaurds were thrown in the air by Haylinn. They were put into a giant bubble and frozen by Mikka and Ava's father. They were lit on fire by Ava and her mother. The guards got up and ran away and were never heard of again. New guards replaced them later and would soon discover just how powerful Ava was later as the Firelord's wife and their son watched in amazement. "Wow thank you for helping me" Mikka said. "No problem dear. Thank you for standing up for our girls and getting our money back. If you ever need anything don't hesitate to ask us." Ava's mother said. "Mikka! You were suppost to be in hiding from the gaurds!" a man yelled toward her. "Father I'm okey these nice people helped me." Mikka replied. "Oh! I'm sorry about the fuss Thank you. Oh! My name is Boe, this is my wife Ling, and our two daughters Mikka and Auri." Boe said. They talked and met up with each other. They soon bought ice cream for everyone and they have remained our friends ever scince.

Not long after that my parents dissapeared. They had vanished in the middle of the night and were never heard from again. As you already know I met Prince Zuko and his mother Ursa. I still believe my parents are out there somewhere and I'm determined to reunite with them. My friends and their families support me and are there for me when I need them most. Especially Zuko. Because he understands more than any of them what it's like to lose someone you care about. After all, His mother had dissapeared as well.

I continue to ( )ing up my parents dissapearence so I think my next story to you will be about them and the night they vanished.
