Contest Details
Every week there will be a new contest to enter with a specific theme. Pay close attention to the details given along with the theme. On occasion, there may be times that multiple contest themes are revealed in advance, in which case you may sign up for whichever one(s) you wish.
There will be five contestants in each contest, the slots are first come, first serve. Once all contestants have been chosen, the contest will begin. If by the halfway point, there are not five contestants, the contest will either go on if there are at least three, or be cancelled for that week. Contests will last one week to allow ample time for entries. At any time, you may drop out of the contest for any reason.
You can enter as many contests as you like, even if you have already placed in or won one.
Placing
EVERYONE WHO ENTERS SHALL GET A PLACING.
Placings are as follows: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, Honourable Mention
Note: If less than five contestants are in a show, the last place shall always be honourable mention.
If the contestant slots are already full (or you wish not to enter and only spectate), you may sign up as a member of the audience. The audience will vote on their favourite entry and determine the placing.
Voting
Placings will be determined by both the audience AND the fellow contestants. Participants will vote on their favourite entry and votes will be tallied at the end of the week. There will also be judges who will provide feedback if and when asked for, but the judges are mostly there to make sure things stay fair and to give feedback. They are NOT included in the placing process unless there is too small an audience for proper voting. It will be announced each week who will be part of the voting process.
EACH CONTESTANT MUST VOTE ON AN ENTRY AS WELL. It may not be their own and if contestants do not vote, they will face losing their placing or being disqualified from the show entirely.
Participants vote on an entry simply by commenting with the word ‘vote’ in the comments section. PARTICIPANTS MAY ONLY VOTE FOR ONE ENTRY. This is to keep things fair for everyone. You may comment on the entry doll after you vote, but please keep any feedback constructive and kind.
RULES:
- One entry per contestant. You may change your entry before the deadline, but you must withdraw your previous entry if so.
- YOU MUST MAKE A DOLL SPECIFICALLY FOR THE CONTEST. No previously made dolls may be entered. Any previously made dolls will be automatically disqualified.
- No mods unless the contest allows them. Mods in a non-mod contest will be disqualified. Note: slight modding due to crashes or losing dolls may be allowed, depending on the amount of modding.
