The gallery for Mi'isuka, my character for Sorachan's maverlous story Tales of Tanjia.
Mi'isuka, the court library keeper's daughter, is a smart, witty, kind, and empathetic girl. Even with all those natures, Mi'isuka only considers herself as a timid and humble caretaker, who prefers the company of books than other people's.
Mi'isuka's grandmother Lady Nyo'hita was a counselor to the former Empress Naa'naki (Ka'asume's grandmother), and her father Mii'kuo was once among the grand scholars of the imperial court. However due to his pride and loyalty, Mii'kuo denied Ka'asume's father, Prince Ko'tuno's right to rule in public. As a consequence, after Ko'tuno ascended the throne as the current Emperor of Tanjia, he demoted Mi'isuka, following her father Mii'kuo, to the library keeper. And took Mi'isuka's mother, the albino herbal healer The'uki, as a hostage.
Both Mi'isuka and her father are in fact 'imprisoned' in the library. Although she and her family had several trips around Tanjia before, Mi'isuka never leaves the imperial palace after her father was demoted.
Mi'isuka loves reading and longing to see the outside world, her father has high expectation on her but Mi'isuka's dream is to be a travlling bard. Mi'isuka is friend with the famous Muse (Tanjiian geisha) Aii'kaubue (Pearlsdiner's character), and she often write poems for her to sing with. |
