| Return to the layer your doll is on. You see where it says 'Normal' above it? Click that! What you're looking for is an option called 'Multiply'--a magical option that turns everything white on this layer completely invisible O.O (among other things irrelevant to this tutorial). You won't see an immediate change, we need a background for that ;) To which I just pasted a background from another game, but would you look at how MAGICAL it is that all the white background from your doll disappeared, but doll itself looks untouched! If you're wondering why we had to do Step 3, go ahead and hide that layer and watch what happens. With white under our doll, all the colors are perfectly preserved :) Step 5 |
