"No one will force you to, once you're free, not even your other selves," Summer Wind reassures the girl. "How will you get me out?" Ifrit challenges suddenly. "My mother is so powerful, and then there's Amen... He doesn't want to help her, but he's a slave to the ring." She blinks furiously, resolved not to waste time crying. "I think he's an advanced downpayment from whoever wants me. Mother never had servants before, much less slaves. She'll get bored, but giving orders is a novelty."

"No... no I believe she wouldn't, but on the other hand, if this person had my best interests at heart, why not let me marry that Ji guy?" Young Ifrit sighed. "Mother confuses me. She's been at me, trying to convince me that Ji doesn't love me and I don't love him, and I deserve better. I'd rather not marry anyone at all!"
