I'll bet Nightowl isn't as far behind as I am. A fractured pelvis is quite a slow-down! It's been 6 weeks and not even near recovered--although SOOOOO much better than I was. a pelvic fracture really hurts! avoid one if at all possible!!!!!

I also hope things slow down to a more manageble, and definitely more comfortable, pace for you, NightOwl! I was insanely busy this spring and just couldn't keep up with DD in addition to everything else, so I know how it feels. I've been halfway through a book forever now; happily I read it before, although years ago. Wishing you rest and relaxation, and sooner rather than later!

I really love reading you're writing! I've got quite behind though since I got really busy halfway through you're Dawn Gate story and have never had time to catch up. It's definitely something I'm going to put on my "to do list" for the Christmas holidays when things will hopefully start to slow down in my life!!! :)

The only exception to this, is that lately I've introduced a few purely magical characters, and they wear exactly what they please regardless of weather, but still in their own distinctive hues. I'm actually working on another story partially featuring these characters now. The environment is generally warmer and more temperate than our own Earth, but tends to resemble that of the region on which it is vaguely based. The steppes are dry grasslands, the south in the place that I visit happens to be sparse forest to savanna, etc. Therefore, there is not one specific characteristic type of dress, but rather the characters wear whatever suits them from local attire. They are, you will notice, almost always color coded; for example, Smoke Cat Watching wears 90% red.
