I agree 100% with Belnika about the pose!! I've seen this pose in almost every manga/anime I've ever read/watched & that's probably why I love it so much!! xD Your friend did a seriously fantastic job with the pose & I just love both of them so much!! Their expressions are simply perfect too!! Eri's speaks of a sweet innocence while Kage looks mischievous as all hell!! xDDD Their features are just so crisp & clear!! I love it!! Their hairstyles are also awesome!! I just love the wavy look of (c)

I'm pretty sure this pose has been used a ton of times in hundreds of manga. manga and anime tend to have an oddly consistent way of portraying body language. sort of like how they have such firmly established character archetypes. so, I wouldn't worry about the posing. besides, basing a drawing off of other artists' work is totally standard. we all feed off each others' work. if the pose was more unique it might become an issue but otherwise *shrug*
