For further details about the upcoming nuptials, I highly recommend reviewing the last eight dolls in my "Twilight Realm" gallery, starting with "Brin's Ideas on Marriage" and extending through "Attuning the Rings". I don't have room to cover all of the material here, but I do plan to pick up exactly where I left off with the wedding preparations. These will, of course, lead to the next story, yet not immediately, however, to give everyone a chance to become familiar with the characters again.

Mark would definitely like to get to know Marea better, nevertheless, and in spite of the fact that Witches and Yelaadim are hereditary enemies. As the final surprise, the traitorous Witch turned out to be none other than Ynarra's younger sister, who was semi-miraculously reformed, although as punishment for her many crimes, Elora was stripped of all but a pittance of her former magical power. She has now sworn to watch over and "be an aunt" to Isthare, (having murdered her true aunt.)

The pair consisted of a Leshy (or ghillie dhu, as some still wrongly term them) named Tylyr, and Beladvyn, a Maenad. More intriguing still were the two "young" street performers who pretty much volunteered to join her: a half-Fae witch-son called Robin, or just "the Bubble Magician", and his flatmate Mark Frost, a chosen name after he turned renegade and left the Yelaadim. He makes his living as a martial artist and escapologist in London, but if he were discovered, he'd be swiftly executed.

She and her Fae lover, now husband and the father of the child she carries, Ooneil by name, have been adopted practically as extended family by Brin, her mother, and daughter. Hawkeye and Brin also, fleetingly, met the last surviving Alu Sage, rumors of whom began the entire adventure, since the Oakenling possesses unusual golden eyes, like a hawk... or an Alu Sage. Meanwhile Marea initially joined forces with two night Faes herself, since Ynarra wasn't up to the extensive travelling required.

(cont) Of course, saying that they overcame difficulties and made friends is like calling the Grand Canyon "a little deep", or the Himalaya Mountains "a bit high". However an obstacle, once passed through or defeated, retains only minor relevance to the story, whereas good friends should be mentioned more specifically, because those bonds continue to affect the future. The acquaintances of Brin and Hawkeye were perhaps less expected. Firstly, a dark witch of the Sisters of Nemesis, Isthare.
