Marea thoroughly enjoyed Robin's performance, as the Bubble Magician was very talented, however she paid a little extra attention to Mark's show, trying to figure out whether his shoulder was still bothering him or not. It didn't seem to be slowing him down any, but when he was finished, he confessed that it held him back just a tiny bit. "So..." Marea didn't know where to begin, "you and Robin are coming to Mom's wedding, right?" "Sure," Mark replied. "All good weddings should have bubbles."

Brin and Hawkeye had fairly good luck finding what he wanted in the way of pearl beads; it helped that the couple had permission to mention Madame Helene's name, and hint that they were carrying out a commission for her. Prices dropped for such an excellent customer as the Arachne designer, although no one in Paris knew she was a Fae. So they had lots of opportunity to stroll the streets leisurely, soaking up the atmosphere, in between visiting the more interesting of the tourist destinations.

Meanwhile, Isthare and Ooneil wished to spend their free time looking over his Fae Dream home to decide what rearrangements would be necessary to make it comfortable when the baby was born. There was so much furniture that accompanied an infant: a cradle or bassinet, a changing table, a nice rocking chair, etc. Modifications to the floor plan itself would almost undoubtedly be required. Then, too, their child would need at least some of that set up in the Dark Sister's mortal realm apartment.

She and Elora still had approximately 500 years worth of catching up to do, and the sisters intended to stay home, play a few quiet games of multilingual Scrabble or something similar, and reminisce. Witches didn't tend to take many photographs, but they often kept mementos of important events or people.
