"It is Summer Wind," replies the mage. "And I believe that I'm flattered." She smiles at this roguish child Ifrit. "I feel that I've met you, too, but I can't be positive," apologizes the blue girl to Syura. "That's all right, you know me now," says the older woman, introducing herself. "And I am Ifrit," she tells them, "but you're already aware of that. Did you come to rescue me?" This is awkward, because the djinn's mortal friends are not yet ready to implement that part of their plan.

In a short while, the two human women arrive, very cautiously and alert for traps. Amen staunchly turns his back so that he can truthfully report that he did not see any of this take place. Young Ifrit is delighted with them. "I know you," she practically sings at Summer Wind. "It's hard for me to remember things that happened while I was an adult, but I'm sure that I know you. Your name is... Wind something... or something Wind. I recall it because it's like Zephyr only very much NOT."

Ifrit the girl is not one to hide her emotions, and she dances around her room thanking Amen quietly, but profusely. "When I escape," she says sincerely, "I'll find a way to come back for you and free you from the ring my mother holds." The adolescents are much of a height, and she stares into his face intensely. "I don't know how, yet, but I'll find a way. You didn't have to aid me at all, and I won't forget it!" "I... realize that now, miss," Amen tells her, smiling slightly at the dream.
