| Jordan Thurgood wanted to be distinct in her selection of the dress. Certainly she was as she used two colors. Jordan was strong willed and temperamental and would argue her point until you got it. All the family admired her gown. Libby loved her sisters ability to stand up for what she believed in. They were not surprised when she disclosed that she wanted to be a barrister though they knew of no female barrister. She told the family I will be the first. Why should I be denied a position because I am a women. Her father looked at his wife, the girl has a point. Today she was making a statement by her choice of gown. I am not a carbon copy of any of my siblings! |
