| "Merry Christmas!" Noelle greeted the children as they scurried into the house to gather around the hearth. "Auntie Noelle did you bake cookies?" they chimed. "Absolutely all of your favorites. Now let's hang up those coats and hats on the rack and leave your boots in the bin and then everyone to the rest room to wash your hands and off to the kitchen for a few cookies and to make a gingerbread house. but first a hug from each one of you for your Auntie Noelle". They all gave her a big hug. She loved them all so and this would be her last year in the United States as she was moving to Africa to serve on the mission field so she wanted to make the time very special and indeed it was! |
