| Martina has just been prounounced Queen of Dahlia a small province in a beautiful country. Her father has died and she must ascend to the throne. The coronation would take place in two weeks. Hearing the news of her father's death she was full of sorrow but she knew she couldn't fall apart for the nation was depending on her to lead them out of the worse economic crisis their country had ever known. The country was in mourning and yet they wanted to know that she was a competent leader and were demanding that she address the public. A news conference was to be held shortly. She grabbed the last written statements of her father and as she scanned the contents she knew that she had to make drastic economic decisions that were contrary to her father's original plans but it was the only hope of economic recovery. She prayed to God for wisdom and compassion. He faithfully endowed her with both and she was the most popular monarch though she never sought to please people only God ! |
