| For our present troubles are not small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly out weigns them and will last forever! So we don't look at the troubles we can see now, rather, we fix our gaze on things that can not be seen. Nala was declared a renegade for her choice to reject the idols of her country and to follow Christ. She was ousted from the village. She boarded a boat to England and there found refuge in the home of a Christian family. They were a wealthy family and they sent her to Bible School and she learned to speak Spanish. After learning the language she had a burden to minister to the people in Argentina. She set sail for a voyage to that country. She was not well received because her skin was brown and her gender female so she stood on the street corners and proclaimed the gospel but there were no converts. She decided to return to England. Before returning a young man received Christ as his Savior and he won many souls to the Lord. |
