You are so awesome. @KatnissEverdeen- Try doing the face first, 'cuz once you nail the expression on her/his face, you get a VERY good model for the body language!

@lost Charcoal and conte is soooo messsyyyyy aarggghhh but in the end it's totally worth it. If you try to work with charcoal I'd suggest getting a nice kneaded eraser, it's basically the only type of eraser that really picks up charcoal.
@Missa you do charcoal and conte?! Cool! I've tried doing charcoal, but I end up smearing the stuff everywhere. Pencil is my schtick, you know? <3
