It's sounds kind of complicated, but once you know your way around the program (Gimp works too, but the selection tool makes things a little more pixelized (Krita does too, but it's not as obvious unless the background is really pale).

I used a free art program called Krita. I put Lai'Mazille's doll on the bottom layer, and when I made Si'lmaei I made sure to give her a plain color background that was a different color from anything she was wearing. I put that doll on a different layer, used the "Similar Color Selection Tool" on the background, pressed 'delete' on my keyboard, and moved her around until they were in position. Then just export the file as a jpeg, and you're done :D

Oh oops XD Sorry. I don't really like to use the white skin tones much, the noses kind of disappear when I do (on my monitor at least :P). But I'll try to remember that if/when I make more dolls of them :)

Beautiful. ^^ Tanjiian skin is actually white, but these dolls are lovely. ^^ I love the clear difference in personality between the two. Modding the makers together was very clever. ^^
