YESS!! You GO, Khittin! Hey Kala Nag: looks like you forgot this Khittin's got some claws! xD There's something so satisfying about this, since it feels like revenge not only for the Jade Lotus, but for Khittin. I can't wait til the witch is defeated and the sword reclaimed once more!

While the girl's sword was low, Kala Nag struck sideways as she pulled her own free from it's sheath. Khittin jumped lithely back and began to attack in earnest, feeling out her opponent's weaknesses. Meanwhile, the Jade Lotus, steely mind torn between an undoubted thief and an unknown assailant, remained... just a sword, an excellent sword of course, but no more than that. Soon the younger woman's energy and skill prevailed over the taller, yet elder, fighter's range. The witch was losing.

Saber drawn, Khittin stalked her quarry through the camp. Kala Nag was already readying her horse and pack animals to carry her things. "No reason to stay any longer, stepmother?" the Mongol princess greeted her jauntily. "No, I have everything I need. The balance of power will shift again, little girl. You'd do well to curry my favor now," the witch gloated. "I don't think you can hold onto what you've stolen," Khitten remarked, cutting the rope that tied the horses, forcing a reaction.

I have no idea what she learned there, but once here, the witch preferred to fight with magic than steel." "If Rouran taught you swordsmanship, you had an excellent tutor," Shang said supportively, "and you're our best hope at the moment. I can come with you if you think you'll want advice." The Mongol princess consciously straightened her spine. "No, you stay here and guard Mulan," she answered.
