| Another for NightOwl's historical ladies... Although now seen as one of the most important American poets, Emily went unrecognized in her lifetime (1830-1886). She wrote almost 1800 poems, but was incredibly reclusive and introverted, refusing to leave her home or sometimes even her room. |
