She's usually tomboyish, but can be quite elegant when she puts her mind to it. She grew up mostly in the forest with her wood elf/dryad druid mother, but her royal father insisted she learn the etiquette of court and that she should present herself as a lady at least some of the time!
I'd forgotten about the enchanted instruments. They had a whole list of them in the old Dungeons and Dragons, by rank. The highest was an Ollamh Lute, iirc.
I love how the copper accents go against the dark purple dress. The butterflies and flowers definitely giving the dryad side but looking elegant and trained in a few court approved skills with the mandolin. Although if it is a magical mandolin (like one outta Forgotten Realms, I had one on my halfling bard/cleric of Tymora) Then it is awesome it made it in her hands. XD
She is an absolutely stunning young woman. The beautiful red tresses cascading over the northwestern purple bejeweled dress is the perfect combination. The background is pretty and the mandolin is a nice touch. Simple beautiful.
