And finally made the mouth glow with the shiny dots (also 11, sorry, I should have saved those steps separately). A big ball of them on the center and a few on the borders. If you're not aiming for a glowing mouth, you can just do the same but with darker draggies. And you won't need that red outline on the upper lip.

Then I added a trapezium/trapezoid/that thing for the chin and made a red outline on the top lip (11) to aid with the glowing effect of the mouth.

I chose to make the mouth after the rest of the head, in the "under bangs" layer, which is the same as the body, so I did the body first (that's why there's that sudden neck there). I do that to have more freedom to fix, rearrange, remove or start over, but you can just add it on the same layer before defining the shape of the head. I used a head/egg for the shape (9), three raindrops at lowest opacity for the tongue(10), though I think for the other one I just used two. Whatever you prefer

I also added some highlights to the face with the shiny dots (8), on the forehead, muzzle and under the eyes.

For the horns (7), I wanted them to look crystal-like or so. I used the shiny dots to make them lighter on the tips, gray ovals to blend them with the body, and the crack draggie to add some cracks on the bottom.

...You can add one of those shiny dots for an extra shine.

For the eyes I make two "holes" right under the forehead with transparent black scales and fuzzy draggies, add an oval or circle in a lighter shade than I want the eyes to be (5), then (6) add a fuzzy draggie in the center, in a darker color than I want the eye to be... well, I just think that gives a nicer effect, but I guess you can go straight for the color you want xD.then add the black near the top, merging it with the black outside the eye. You can use the same one for the nostrills.

To blend the colors I put some gray draggies on the first rows of red and the other way around (4).

Cover the area with the same draggies on lowest opacity (3). The more proeminent features should be more defined, so I draw them over and use less of the transparent draggies on them.

For the borders, ovrlap two or more rows of diamonds to make tiny scales (2). That's what's gonna define the depht on the dragon's body.

Start in the front layer. I start by building the forehead with triangles (the top of the nose uses triangles too), then the rest of the face around it with diamond shaped draggies (1). (If you're making the mouth in the same layer, it's around here that you wanna do steps 9, 10 and 11).
