Obviously a guy, immediately, and a handsome one! On the young side, I would say, based on the feeling that his Adam's apple is not too visible, but then many just aren't. And since I can't draw AT ALL, that's as specific as I can be; I hope that's helpful.

Wow, first off you did a great job! His hair is absolutely amazing and you have a great drawing style. What I noticed is that the right eye is a bit too far away from the nose. And I think his chin is too small to fit the rest of the face. Try making it a bit more dominant and longer. As the drawing is right know I think that his face in general is too wide. Either narrow it down or maybe it helps when you make his chin more prominent. Hope that helps! But again, great job!

For me, immediately male! The key points; Stronger, more dominate features such as the neck and nose read directly to male (opposed to female) and have been well executed. I applaud your work, especially as a first time! And let me just tell you, his hair is fabu~ uvu I'd suggest a stronger, perhaps longer chin and jaw. Of course, character-wise and your personal taste/style could differ that. As more of doodler myself, I'm probably in no place to give advice, but I hope this may help. c:
