Lena Horne, one of the first women of color to become popular in Hollywood. She was possibly most famous for her torch song, "Stormy Weather", featured in a movie by that name as well as released in an album with that title. #Silverscreen The dress is actually a mashup of one of the evening gowns worn in the film, and the one she modeled on the album's cover.

Thanks so much to you both, Mytha and Lexia!! I could have chosen either dress alone, but there just isn't enough glitter in Urban Chic, lol. She was also known in later years for playing Glinda the Good Witch in the movie "The Wiz".
