I’ve been procrastinating when it comes to making contest/DDNTM dolls, so today I realized it was the upload date for the desserts round, and that I had nothing started. This round I wanted to make a gown, since I haven’t made a gown for the rounds since the 2nd(?) round. I started to make a doll, restarted, and still managed to put this together in a few hours. I wanted to add the Oreo in the dessert as part of the dress or as an accessory, but it didn’t have enough contrast to Aramina’s hair or skin, hence the giant cookie in the background. I’m actually really happy with the doll overall, and proud of the fact that these are the most complicated folds I’ve made, and they didn’t take all that long. On a side note, Happy Thanksgiving to those of you in Canada (like me)! (Well it’s on Monday but I’m sure some of you are celebrating today.) |
