continued..as I consider your appreciation for this design I imagine there is a short novella that is being created as you view and I hope that it makes it way into your story gallery for I know it will be great. Your appreciation of this particular doll I think is because it is simple but doesn't lack intricacy. I appreciate your ability to use intricacy in that way. So appreciate that but I also appreciate the artist you are. Simplistic but well thought out designs is your specialty and nothing lacks in your design. Your creative juices flow and you come up with striking designs that I am sure many admire.

@poetsmoon thanks for participating in the remake contest. Oh I am elated that this made your favorite category. It is one of mine too. Your redo is incredibly accurate and your choice of color changed the tone from a the drama of the jazz/blues style to a popular songstress. My daughter was impressed with the accuracy and liked yours even better.

Ubby, you got to know it is hard to for me to pick an absolute fave, but this certainly is among them. This reminds me of the 20's. I love the style of that time period. ... and the hair ... love what you did with it! Okay ... here it goes ... I will give it a try! LOL
