Cygnet I am so glad to learn a bit about the Molokai Island. I didn't know about the place but yet I knew there was such a place and I tried to depict it. I am so elated that you not only viewed the art but took time to read the message. Oh yes Sister my job just had layoffs and believe it or not I was believing that it would be me and that this would be the opportunity to be available for ministry. I was not the one. It isn't about what we want to do for God but what He wants to do through us.

Just saw her! Is this supposed to be Molokai Island? The leper hospital is apparently still there, although it's abandoned now; I want to go see it. I love the message of this doll and the sense of self-reflection that she has. It's not always easy to go where He wants us to, but we have to always trust that He knows what's best for us. That background is amazing, as well. The foliage really looks like it's swaying in the breeze, and it has this dream-like feel.

The Purple Parade displays a patterned gown that hopefully has an appeal to the viewer even if it is strictly because of the background.

she looks like a woman coming out of the water towards an island. he woman is beautiful and the island is very well done. I can see the bottom half as the island's reflection in the water while the top half is the island the woman is walking towards. this doll gives me the impression of a sea goddess approaching the land of humans. the purple, red, and white is a beautiful combo of colors for this sea goddess. this doll is eye catching and unique. well done.
