Oh goodness, the caps on her shoulders, and the sheen of the fabric! I also really like the "inclusion" of bluish/brown and all those beads to mimic the layers of the stone! WELL done!
Congratulations, you have won second place in my contest "Divine Colors: Red"! I know you are the shading master, but the shading on this doll, especially on the skirt, stuns me every time I view it! It looks like silk!!!!! The pattern on the skirt is beautiful and crafted with so much creativity! The top looks so awesome with its pattern. The pinkish red goes so well with the bright, fiery red of the red, and those pearls you placed around the neckline are fantastic!
What a dress! The red over skirt is so striking, it's beautiful! And I really like the under skirt's pattern and the texture of the bodice, wonderfully done!
I absolutely adore that pattern you created on the bodice!! The colors blend so wonderfully & the little beading at the top is fantastic!! I love the pauldrons too & the pattern on that skirt is dazzling!! I love the addition of the necklace D&D, it really gives that area such a lovely texture!! The shading of the skirt is spectacular as well & the blending of the colors - stunning!! I also love the beaded trims & her hair is sublime!! Love~!! :D <3
I was, indeed, very curious about that design in the middle of her skirt, because I had never seen such a pattern on a ruby before, but when I copied & pasted your link, I was pleasantly blown away!! This is absolutely magnificent, sanctuary!! I can see where the stone inspired you & by gosh, this is breathtaking!! I love the design & style of this dress!! That long, flowing skirt with the open middle to show off that glorious design is marvelous & that bodice is nothing short of divine!!
