This was IrishPaula's take on my design and I really loved it when I featured it in a remake months ago. She did a fabulous job. it is still on the beloved pages.

When Irishpaula did this remake of my Always A Lady I was just amazed. She extended the train and added the beading around the hemline and eliminated some of the lace off of the body of the dress and came up with a winner.
Congratulations! You won first place in my contest "My hair is my dress!"! Really amazing! The hair has been used just in the right places, in my view! I love both the sleeves and the beautiful mermaid skirt! The decorations on the hips of the gown make it even more elegant and special! The background with that magnificent vase of flowers and the curtains, in their turn created with the hair, is the icing on the cake!
This doll is superb. It is a design that I truly love and you did a marvelous remake of it. I didn't feel that it upstaged the original but placed it in the antebellum era and the original placed in the French Revolution era! A pretty crown once more.
i actually had my own business, b.c. [before children] doing makeup for weddings, proms and other special occasions, i also did lessons, so thanks for the compliment ubeta jr. :)
Oh my how stunning is this design. It has Irishpaula style written all over it. You relocated the window and it gives it a totally different dynamic. She is stationary and I imagine se is engaged in conversation. Fabulous remake.
