This is a kimono, a traditional Japanese dress. In ancient times, kimonos were worn on a daily basis, but now are only worn for special occasions, such as: weddings, birthdays, funerals, festivals, tea ceremonies, & shrine visits. Being part Japanese, I just had to make this. Long overdue too!!

So pretty! I love the shading, and the clusters of stars- I especially like how you made some stars outlines by layering a smaller one on top of a larger one, they look really pretty! The little crescent moons are a nice touch, too <3 And her patterned obi is beautiful. The finishing touch is that fabulous headpiece- just gorgeous!
Congratulations! You won an honorable mention of five crowns in my contest: "Dream Hair: Brown!"! Very original the idea of combining a simple Western hairstyle, with a headpiece absolutely oriental! This is utterly gorgeous!!! The colour is divine and all the different shades and stars must have taken you ages!!! The little moons look awesome too. You have done such a great job on the sleeve. It looks fantastic. The hair piece is totally brilliant and I love your hair style. My favourite part is the belt (sorry I don't know the proper name). It looks so pretty with the purple and while patterns and the purple ribbons hanging off! :) :) :)
