Octavia, I got the solid colour by using layers of the fuzzy circles under the stars, the flowers outlines hide the fuzzy edges. I also find it helps to work with a background in a contrasting colour to help show any gaps. Hope this helps :)
You should do more dolls on Erte because this is so well done! How did you make the skirt that one solid color? I seem to always have little outlines from the drag&drop items when I start to color in the skirts
