"Ki'konia and her husband have come to join us as the sun dips below the horizon. I hope that our Goddess enjoys her celebration this year... I'm struggling to. Too many dark thoughts cloud my mind and these bouquets surrounding me seem to hide an iron poison in their rose thorns. The air still holds a faint winter chill, and I'm sipping my third goblet of Mi'ilaya. Half-hearted conversations, music, and wine have helped me survive the day, however the evening is another adventure. Perhaps I can manage a stroll if my security escorts will allow it."
