@Opal, real albino's have a lack of or mutation in an enzyme that produces melanin, so they produce very little color, if at all. Ocular albinism results in the pale blue eye you mentioned, but with either of the two forms of albinism that appears in humans, there is usually enough color for green or brown eyes as well. Because of the light coloring to the eye, the red of the retina is not always concealed, making the eye appear red or purple.
@Pearlsdiner They are a bit of an oddity, so sometimes they get strange looks bits of negativity, but it isn't terrible being albino on Tanjia. Usually they're pretty shy, but they're perfectly capable of interacting with other Tanjiians.
