Also known as the Golden Kaiser-i-Hind, this brilliant butterfly is native to China and parts of Vietnam, although its habitat there is threatened. I used the patterning of the male's wings even though the body is a female form, just because I thought it was prettier. I worked with this image and one other that I can't locate anymore. this is super lovely! The coloring is spot on, and the wing design is great! Plus, I really love the way you made the flowers, it definitely gives it a very realized feel!
