Imp, of course, coalesces immediately, and the battle continues. Standing in the center of the domed space, Ji forces himself to remain motionless while watching his beloved involved in an all out brawl: transformations, guided spells, exchanges of raw energy. She is holding her own well, but doesn't appear to be gaining any advantage over her enemy. This is worrisome, yet more alarming still, is the lack of any sign of Zephyr. Nor have Ahi'i's people appeared, but that was half expected.

"If you want me, Imp, you fight me!" Ifrit declares once she's through the jagged crack she blasts open, then punching him in the face like a hammer in case he missed her point. The small red man slides his tongue slowly over his lip, tasting blood, and says, "I like it rough!" before becoming a circular rotating blade which whizzes, not at Ifrit, but at Amen. However, the boy is able to deflect the blow, if not shatter the weapon. Ifrit, coming from behind, swinging a hefty bat, does that.

"All right," the three fey agree. "If it is acceptable," the slave boy must add, but of course Summer Wind gives her permission. Apparently this slight delay in response is too much for Imp's patience, because he calls, "I heard you were planning to wed. You can do better than this... creature... who won't even fight me to keep you!" A muscle just barely twitches in Ji's jaw, yet he replies calmly, "If that's your worst insult, I'm not impressed." Ifrit is nearly to the clear wall, however.

"Is a trap," Amen finishes softly. "Miss, don't go, or at least don't go alone." Ifrit shakes her head. "It is a matter of me exiting, or Imp entering," she replies, as the red fey has appeared opposite her outside the glass, leering. "Yet you will not leave unescorted, I think," Ji says firmly. "No, I need you to counteract whatever Zephyr is up to," the blue woman argues. "There is no time for debate," Smoke Cat Watching interjects. "And you are both right. Amen will accompany Ifrit."

Many fey have a fear of being enclosed; I have been bottled twice. This is a challenge!" Ifrit states. "Presumably I'm to come out and fight like a djinn." "I didn't know the djinn had ritualized combat," says Song the Wolf Calling. "They don't," Ji confirms flatly. "There are no rules at all." "Then this?" Syura gestures above.
