Absolutely beautiful, so haunting. This doll is really amazing - the wood and fire are so well crafted and the bruise are a really 'nice' touch. Victim definitely (although a real witch could still be a victim)
@QuietlyInsane, (not that you'll ever read this) it won't be based off the Salem Witch trials because the accused witches were hanged not burnt. Witch burning was done in mainland Europe and Scotland. England/Wales and America had hangings. Sorry, I just like to educate people.
Congratulations! You won an honorable mention of 5 crowns in my contest "Four contest for four elements: Fire!"! This doll is beautiful in its cruelty! It reminds me so much Joan of Arc, one of my favorite historical figures! Wonderful! And wonderfully well done also the pile of wood under the stake! And to answer the question that puts your title ... Victim! Victim of ignorance and misogyny!
This is so awesome. Just so you know, I haven't given you all your crowns yet because my computer is being weird and glitchy every time I try to give a crown. I'll make sure you get the rest after this is sorted out!
