I wanted to make another portrait, but instead of just using a shade darker of line than the main skin shade, I decided to use the darkest orange. It ended up inspiring me to do something different with the colour blocks and the really saturated colours. It’s a lot different from what I usually do, but I like it. The same gal that I made a doll of a couple weeks ago. Maybe if I have the inspiration and school doesn’t kick my butt (starting on Monday), I’ll make the other character as well. I’ve narrowed down the names to Luca/Lucia/Noa for her and Mae (or May)/Selene/Sadie for the blonde character. On a separate note, after debating whether or not to get one for a while, I have an art Instagram (@ mytherva_draws) now. Absolutely striking, I've always been impressed by people who can create a portrait with the dollmakers and this is no exception. Looking at her, you can tell exactly how animated and fully of character she is! Bravo!
