Out of jealousy, Arthur sent Lancelot on to the quest of the Holy Grail. Guinevere disapproved this decision. The Holy Grail is a symbol of Mabel, from which she pours out the life-giving pollen of Gaia. This act means Arthur chose Men over Fae. Guinevere then turned to Mordred, son of Arthur and Morgause, and bore him a child. Eventually, this led to the final battle between Arthur and Mordred, in which all three of them were killed.

Guinevere herself was a great archer, she requested many times to fight alongside her king, but was constantly turned down by Arthur. Also many years had passed, the queen still remained childless. In time Guinevere developed a deep frustration and insecurity, the arrival of Lancelot breathed in new life. During one banquet Lancelot spoke with Guinevere in Eyldryn, Guinevere immediately felt an attachment, and soon the two began an affair.

Once a proud descendent of the Sun Dynasty, now a wanderer of her ruined kingdom. Guinevere was appraoched by the Lady of the Lake, promising she will be queen again and bear the child of Fae's hope. She and Merlin orchestrated a meeting with King Arthur and married the King. Guinevere then brought many Faekind into Arthur's court, one of them being Lancelot, a half-Fae child raised and trained by the Lady of the Lake.

Arthur was well-received, King Leodegrance introduced himself and his kingdom as 'of the elder people'. He thanked Arthur for freeing his land from the horror of the giant, in return, he gave Arthur Guinevere's hand. Arthur loved his queen, but it was all the design of the Fae. The giant, King Leodegrance and Carmelide were all illusions created by Merlin. Guinevere herself was the last princess of the fallen Alven kingdom, Alador.
